A really full-bodied, thick double IPA, backed full of really multi-dimensional hops. Mosaic and Chinook combine with a pair of South Pacific varieties for a layered amalgamation of citrus, pine and spice. That’s backed up by a peppery spiciness from the buckets of rye added to the grist.

Bottle @ home. Unclear hazy orange color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma is malts, hops, quite fruity. You do get the rye but I think only because you know it's in there. Would be interesting to drink the exact same beer without rye right next to this one. Taste malts, hops, nice 'old school hoppiness' I'd say even though that sounds weird but I mean that it's not that over the top sweetish fruity hoppiness. Still has a bit of that, but it also has those old school hoppy notes. Also floral and sweetish a bit though. Decent body and quite soft carbonation. Nice though.

Bottle from The Beerhive. Hazy amber body with lots of particles floating beneath a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of apricot and syrup. Flavour of orange and caramel. Medium body with a syrupy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. A rich DIPA but the rye and hop flavours seem quite muted.

330ml bottle @ Itadikizen. Pours unclear amber, off white head. Aroma is sweet with some jammy fruit. Taste is smooth with similar jammy notes, rye malt providing a soft fuzzy cushion for a moreish sweet IPA that drinks well for the strength. Good stuff
