This was a great specimen of a tripel. Deep, cloudy orangish yellow color. Strong alcohol aroma alerts you to the alcohol presence immediately. Had alot of alcohol flavor throughout but was well masked for the most part by the yeasty cookie flavor. Some fruity notes in the aftertaste, a little bit too sweet for an ideal tripel though, in my humble opinion, although not bubblegummy sweet like many belgians. Maybe a bit too much carbonation. Definitely worth drinking. Not bad altogether, especially for 2 dollars on special!
