2004 bottle big thanks to Jeff for the trade (radiomgb). A year old when I opened this baby. Bright orange-golden colored beer, brilliantly colored APA with a fine white head that is both lasting and moderately thick. Plenty of lacing. Aroma of hops, light alcohol and a bit of dry yeast. Seems like there is some dry herbal spice in there, like white pepper or cumin or something. Must be the hops or yeast. Flavor is just a straight up, solid rendition of an American Pale Ale. Beautifully hoppy, moderate to high bitterness, with a dry caramel and toasted grains backbone. Bubbly, frothy mouthfeel does not water down on the finish. Perfume like aroma given off when swirled. Light alcohol notes, more citrus and dry floral hops on the finish. The malted wheat is not terribly discernable. Typical Rogue yeast apparency.
