Keg at Brewdog Bristol. Sampled Feb 2019. Pours hazed gold with a white cap. Aroma: bread, peach, citrus, champagne yeast, spicy, floral. Taste: light tartness, dry on the palate, some sweetness, a touch boozy. Medium body with spritzy carbonation. Nice.

Hazy golden, white head. The thing that's a really pleasant surprise here is that there's a genuine champagne quality to it. It's there in an otherwise typical bready saison aroma. It's there round the edges of a light, floral and yeasty saison. I like champagne / sparkling wine and this is balanced perfectly, even with a bit of light fizz in the mouthfeel. Lovely.

The script on the pump clip was so small I had to get 3 other punters to work out what it said, keg at the Alehouse, Reading. It took 4 pint glasses to pour this. Ordered a half and ended up with two thirds. Boozy dry Champaign aroma. Hazy medium gold aroma. Massive foamy head. Initial.citrus shortly followed by heavy bitter. Herbs and some quinine. Does not overly reflect the ABV. Thin. Light flat. Abrupt. Interesting enough. That much ABV, really?
