Tap at New Beer. Pours slightly cloudy orange with a sturdy white head. Emits plenty of pine and citrus hop aromas. Pretty well balanced flavor, with some caramel sweetness up front followed by grapefruit, resiney bitterness. Medium in body with strong carbonation and a semi-sticky finish. Very good.

Thanks to sliffy for sharing a bottle. The beer is a lightly hazed dark orange color with a medium foamy off-white head that dissipates steadily. Rings of lacing on the glass. Has a strong fruity hops aroma with caramel malt undertones. Medium body with a floral hoppy character that has a strong malt foundation. Citrus is pronounced throughout as well. The finish is rich and hoppy with a lingering citrusy bitterness. Overall this beer reminded me of something between a Barley Wine and DFH 120 Minute. Very good overall.

Deep golden amber, moderately hazy, with a thick white head on it. Smells of bitter, citric hops, fresh and crisp. This is hops to the max and is very intensely bitter. Flavor is a bit one-sided with the cascades dominating everything. Malt is there, but only lightly present on the finish and medium sweet at best. Almost lagerish in its crispness. Dry, papery mouthfeel exacerbated by the pale malt. I'm not making it sound very good, but it's not that bad, especially as this style generally makes little attempt at balance.
