Poured from a 16 oz can dated May 12, 2020. Aroma is fairly hop forward with lots of mango, tropical citrus, orange, grapefruit, stone fruit and berry notes. Lighter dank, resin and pine notes. Moderate cracker malt notes with hints of biscuit and caramel. Hints of alcohol spice. Pours a fairly clear, golden orange with a medium large, thick, pillowy white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers on the edges. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with moderate cracker malt notes and lighter notes of caramel and biscuit. Moderately strong bitterness and light alcohol spice. Moderately strong hop notes that are citrus and resin forward with lighter passion fruit, mango and berry notes. Some lingering bitterness into the finish, but it's not super assertive. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really nice West Coast IPA that has a bit more malt character and a strong bitterness that doesn't stretch over into testing your limits for IBUs. Well balanced and fairly drinkable for the ABV.

Tap at CapTap. Pours coppery gold with a white head. Aroma is hoppy - but earth/herbal - followed by mixed citrus. Med body. Flavor pops up something like gooseberry - then the earthy, citrus, green stuff. Quite dry. Hoppy. Bitter for sure. A little different than a typical DIPA, but decent flavor.
