Humulus Lupus on oikeamielisen humaloinnin ja one man wolfpack -elämäntyylin epäpyhä liitto.
Ameriikan humalakoriin kallellaan oleva olut, jossa on törkeästi käytetty hyväksi lukemattomia humalakasveja.

Maistuu, tuoksuu ja tuntuu.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks troubles. Hazy amber. Aroma of malt, caramel, stale hops, marmalade. Sweet flavor with caramel, marmalade, a bit of fruitiness, stale hops, and some bitterness. Medium-bodied. Not fresh enough.

330ml bottle picked up at Alko Stockmann. Next to clear apricot coloured body. Beige, bubbly head leaving spotty lacing behind. Bread and dried fruity nose, semi-sweet. Blended taste of fresh and dried fruits including moments of grapefruit, orange, caramel, and pine. Lingering and drying citrus bitterness to the finish. Pleasant slow sipper (hotel room, Helsinki 25.09.2015).

330 ml bottle shared by Kavu, thanks!
Amber to copper, clear body, with a medium, creamy, off-white head.
Aroma of grapefruit, pine, resin, caramel, biscuit.
Taste follows this, with some more alcohol.
Medium mouthfeel, with a soft carbonation.
Finishes bitter-sweet, alcohol warming, resinous, piney, fruity.

Very nice. Pretty sweet, but well balanced by the resinous hops. Alcohol is noticeable, but still quite easy for the ABV.

Bottle. Clear orange colour. Hops centered and, what is better, well balanced. Lots of bitterness, citrusy, resiny, orange. Very flavourful, juicy. Strong candyish malty sweet backbone, but does not interfere much. Very good.

Bottle at One Pint Pub. It pours clear orange-amber with a decent white head. The nose is rich, oily orange, tangerine, peach, Cointreau, cake and some piney varnish. The taste is bitter-sweet, pine, resin, varnish, oily, orange citrus, peach, booze boost, toasty, apricot and lemon drizzle cake with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Well rounded and rather drinkable. Solid double ipa.

A bit fruity and fairly hopped, but masks the alcohol well. A decent effort, thumbs up
