Spontaneously fermented sour blonde ale aged in oak barrels

We’re proud to present Spontanaheim, an homage to tradition and a testament to our team’s dedication to the craft. This beer was brewed using traditional Belgian methods of turbid mashing and spontaneously fermented with the wild winds of Anaheim. After 18-24 months of aging in our oak puncheons, we tasted and hand-selected our favorite barrels, which were then masterfully blended to taste. Funky, complex, tart, and crisp.

Malmö March tasting at Palace Hall 21/03/2026 - (2022 vintage) funky citrusy and barnyard fruity, nice lemon zesty edge, some floral notes, medium body and acidity, tart fruity and funky into the close.

On tap at Bruery Terreux, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle funk, a little citrus, and a bit of oak. Flavour is quite tart, with lots of tart citrus, a touch of funk, and moderate acidity. Nothing like a lambic. Doesn't have the complexity of a lambic. Okay.
