Keg only special for the Danish Beer Festival 2019
As a brewer, you sometimes end up with a lot of raw materials from other experimental brews that haven't been used. In order not to just throw them away, we want to be more environmentally correct and use everything we can. And what better excuse could a brewmaster have to make a beer that is filled to the brim with lots of good malt and other fun things. It turned out to be an Imperial Rye Coffee Porter – A double-mashed brew at 24 °P in the mash, with lots of body and power. Delicious barley and rye malts to create body and Peruvian coffee beans (made as piston coffee using a completely unique method in our hopgun) to create complexity and balance.
The result is a flavor bomb with wild complexity, balance, fantastic aromas of coffee and chocolate. The acidity from the rye malt and the aromas from the hops and yeast create a delicious complexity and balance together with the dark roasted flavors from the chocolate malt and coffee. To be enjoyed and discussed in good and enthusiastic company.
