Bottle 50 cl. Pours a beautiful, clear nutty brown with a smallish, lacing off-white head. Nose is a little greasy and then in comes the diacetyl. Rich, sweet, malty body. Nutty and slightly toffeeish. Luckily the diacetyl isn't as outspoken in the flavor as it is in the nose. But there's some unwanted phenollic flaws that could indicate a too warm ferentation (?). It's a drinkable beer if not exactly overly enjoyable. 110620

Bottle 500ml. @ [ Tasting ] - fonefan & Brugmansia House.
[ As Borgs Bryghus BOK-BOK ].
ABV: 8.0%. Clear medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, caramel, light smoke. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramel, bread, phenol, marmalade, sweet malt, candy. IMO: homebrew alike both flavor and aroma. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20200519]

Bottle. Pours hazy reddish copper brown with airy beige head. Clear aroma of malt, caramel and tons of butter. Sour, red currantlike flavour with butter, bread and diacethylene and some occasional hoppy hiccups and yeasty yucks. Acutely acidic aftertaste. God, please tell this brewer that he should consider doing something else...

Bottle, 8.0%. Buttery aroma. Cloudy reddish brown colour. Stable frothy light brown head. The flavour is buttery. Strangely spicy. And strangely citric. A sort of sour berry citric note - not too bad at that, but the butter is not exactly enjoyable.
