Bottle, 8.3% at Überquell. Fruity and nutmeggy aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Small tan head. The flavour is caramelly and bready, sweet and faintly spicy. Hint of liquorice in the finish.

Bottle @ ÜberQuell Brauwerkstätten, Hamburg. Almost black with a light brown head. Aroma is sweet, malty, a little roasted malt, caramel, light dried fruit and wood. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. 300319

Bottle @ home. Pours clear very dark brown with a creamy light brown head, lacings. Aroma of malt, caramel, light cocoa, wood, little sweet dried fruit, dates. Flavor is sweet, lightly bitter, malt, caramel, cocoa, wood, leather, dried dark fruit, alcohol. Medium body, soft to average carbonation, sweet and light nitter finish with some warming alcohol. 060319

0,33 l bottle from Craft Beer Store, Hamburg. A darkest red brown in the glass, nearly two finger beige head. Low fruity smell. Taste reminds to a barrel aged beer without the boozy part. Roasty, low sweetness, more dry in the second part. Little bit alcoholic. Low to zero carbonation. Dull and woody. Expected way more. Sorry.
