A vanilla and chocolate porter aged on French oak and rested on organic cocoa nibs and Madagascar vanilla pods.
Like velvet on the tongue - chocolate, coffee and dark caramel - it pours heavy with a very thick, dominating head. The aroma is strong dark chocolate with subtle notes of coffee and vanilla. The lactose and vanillin (from the oak) beautifully round the flavours together. A little thin and bitter, like a porter should be, this leaves a slightly roasted coffee bean sensation. After swallowing this soft bitterness gives way to a long lasting vanilla coating on the palate.

Can sample courtesy of Grumbo, cheers Graham! Dark brown colour with a red tinge, afew beige bubbles on top and aroma of dark chocolate, roasty, vanilla. Taste is sweetish, rich chocolate, roasty malt, coffee, vanilla, christmas cake, nutty, some bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry roasty nutty finish. Nicely drinkable.

Can. Blackish coloured beer with a strong off white coloured head. The aroma is gently cocoa and roasted, and the flavour is roasted with a mellow chocolatey‘ness about it and a gentle and long bitter finish. Overall a nice porter style of beer.

Crowler from Morebeer quarantine box. Box with tan head. Lots of sweet chocolate, earthy roast, light vanilla, sweet malts, light toffee, light earthy oak, dead leaves. Quite sweet, light bitter. Medium bodied with slick feel. Ok but a bit weird sickly sweet.

Very dark brown with lasting head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of vanilla and a little roasted malt. Some jammy red fruit sweetness too.
