(10/25/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Southampton. Clear pale golden color. Aroma of pale malt, a bit of fresh hops with light grassy and citrus notes. Sweetish malty flavor with some graininess a slightly drier finish. Light to medium-bodied. A decent light beer.

Multiple draught pints on 4/28/06 and 4/29/06 at SHPH
Very pale brass color, with an almost greenish tint, extremely clear with a timid white head that quickly runs for cover. No lacing.
Nose is very cerealic, just highly attenuated white grains, a touch of light, crisp yeast (though it could just be carbonic acid) and a smattering of dry, minimally aromatic saaz hops. Moderate strength for a pale lager. No alcohol, no sweetness.
It’s quite watery, for sure, both in flavor and texture, with quite a bit of carbonation (loose bubbled though), but there is enough of a grainy, attenuated malt residue, with just a touch of white dough to satisfy as a quencher. Hops are noticeable, as well, though they are just dried grass and very light straw. Warming actually improves the flavor, and the carbonation eases up. Near flawless.
