Draught, almost no head, hazy deepish yellow color, aroma of ginger and black pepper with some wheat behind, flavor of black pepper with light ginger lingering and some corned beef notes, spirtzy with a light sourness. Nice and enjoyable spicy wit.

Draught @ Albion. Slightly cloudy rich yellow with small creamy white head, very little vanilla aroma, high carbonation, lightly spicy, thin bodied brew with medium finish. Not bad for refreshment but not as complex as described.

Location: Draft at Pony Bar, 2/22/14

Aroma: The aroma is heavy spice, lots of pepper, with some underlying hop notes
Appearance: It pours a gold-orange color with a white head and decent lace
Flavor: Tastes much the same, with lots of pepper/spice and some underlying hop bitterness
Palate: The body is medium, it has a decent mouthfeel, and a clean finish
Overall Impression: I thought this one was solid enough. It has a pretty decent overall feel and flavor profile that is clearly fronted by the spice/pepper, but has some floral and other components as well.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours golden with a white head. Aroma is pepper, pale malt, light spice, and just the slightest bit of hops. Taste is light, but nothing in the body or the taste is faint or watery. It is subtle and multilayered without any flavor taking the lead. The beer is innocuous, but is one that lets you appreciate the medley.

12oz pour at Proletariat NYC. Very hazy yellow orange with some thick, lacing white head. Nose has a lot of spice, grass, tums, a little pepto, coriander, perfume, honey. Flavor is lightly sweet, hay, some parsnip, honey, perfume, lavender, orange blossom, a little jasmine. Chalky, herbal finish. Odd. Seems a little eastern inspired.
