On tap at Beer Baron. It pours a clear light golden color with a white head. The aroma is pretty light with some bready malt, hints of chemicals, mango and pineapple. The flavor also has some chemicals, herbs, flowers and a little honey. Medium bodied with medium bitterness. A rare miss for Hangar 24.

On tap at the brewery. It pours bright orange with a disappearing off white head. The aroma is honey and malt with some citrusy hop presence. the flavor is balanced with honey and slightly doughy malt, bitter pine and citrus in the finish. Well balanced IIPA.

12oz bottle pours with a nearly clear deep gold body that supports a thin dirty white head. The modest aroma offers up tangerine, cantaloupe, pineapple and then a thin blend of garlic and earthy tea. The taste delivers pineapple, cantaloupe and tangerine that gets both juicy and bitter. To midway it picks up floral hops, spicy garlic and then a thin ring of pine like resiny hops. This has a bit of a different hop profile, at least that’s how it seems, and it’s working pretty well. I’d drink this again, no problem.

Bomber pours hazy deep gold with copper hues and tan head. The aroma offers up spicy hops, some bitter smelling floral hops, earthy hops and then a bit of a soapy like sensation. The taste delivers bold spicy hops and then is found running into some resiny bitterness that takes on a pine hop like note. Into the finish modest sweet malts come to the surface to help ground the hoppy goodness. Solid IIPA.

Sample at the taproom. Hazy bright golden color with a medium off-white head that diminishes steadily to a film. Strings of lacing. The aroma is hoppy with citrus and pine notes, and some malt in the background. Medium to full body with a piney hops character and flavors of grapefruit and malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Bomber on my daughters patio (Laguna Niguel) on 24th May 2015. Cloudy amber pour with a white head. Hops rule the roost here, citrus, tropical fruits in the aroma a bitter bite in the taste. I couldn’t find any honey sweetness, or presence at all in either the nose or flavour. Decent though and certainly a hop forward brew. Alcohol hidden nicely by the depth of hop flavours.

Rather cloudy light tan. Fairly hoppy aroma but it is a little bit dull. Lots of hop, again showing just a bit of fruit, and then some pale malts that are actually fairly thin, but none of this showcases either brightness or complexity.

From a 75 cl bottle shared at Ryan’s on Christmas morning. Pours a clear copper with an off white head. Fruity hop nose. Flavors of pine resin, citrus and a touch of salt. Smooth mouthfeel and finish. Nice balance. Tasty.

Tasting at Bruce’s Pad. Thanks to Colin. Hazy gold beer with a small pale cream coloured head. Palate is light, airy and soft. Sweet pine and orange hops. Subtle tropical fruits. Light finish comes together very well
