LSAT Freedom Trip #85. Keg at the brewpub. Hazy pale orange, medium sized creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of bready malt, mild citrus and caramel. The taste is citrus, caramel, pale malt. Thin-medium bodied, mild lingering bitterness.

Draught at the brewery, 8/1/15.
Clear golden with some brass tints. White head is small and shows moderate to low retention.
Spicy, rather floral hoppiness in the nose is joined by vanilla and sourdough-like maltiness. Maybe a pinch of soapiness but there’s some juiciness from the hops, adding a bit of citrus character and keeping things pretty well-balanced. No alcohol.
Very sourdough/toasted grain heavy. Must be a lot of munich/vienna malt here? Kind of odd, but with the low hoppiness, it helps balance the sweetness. Pretty good attenuation, though it’s certainly not dry. Leafy, floral hops with light stone fruits and no alcohol. Slippery/slick texture with ample carbonation. Fine.
