Draft at Borefts Beer Festival '17. Clear amber with a cream colored head. Aroma of smoked malt and black tea. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2017, day 2. Hazy orange brown color, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste malts, tea, smoke, smoked wood, somewhat bitter. Decent body and carbonation. Not for me this one.

@Borefts 2017 van tap, bruin/amber met lichte kraag. aroma van gerookte mout, caramel, zoet, ham en bacon. smaken zijn matig tot redelijk zoet, redelijk dun/waterig, ham en bacon, caramel, earl grey thee, nee niet mijn ding.

Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft @ Borefts 2017. Day 1. Dark amber, little head. Nose is weirdly herbal, medicinal smoked, Earl Grey is all weird medicinal. Fizzy & oily body. Taste is weird, tastes more like smoked paprika than Earl Grey to me, medicinal low, oily. Baffling like several other De Molen beers at the festival plus previous years, I don’t entirely object to this one.

Tap. Clear amber-copper color with tan head. Aroma is smoked tea, caramel, toasted malts. Taste is the same, in a very balanced way. Oily mouthfeel, medium carbonation. Very good!

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2017. A clear orange brown beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of tart fruits, smoked malt, bacon. Taste of smoked dark malt, riped fruits, yeast.

From tap. Pours cloudy derp amber with a small white head. Aroma is herbal, smoked and teaish. Dry. Toasted and herbal. Lingering slight sweet malty. Dense teaish to smoked.

Clear brownish beer, creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive, leaving some lacing in the glass. Aroma: very smoky touch, fruity, malty, some caramel, sweet, bit funky. MF: lively carbon, medium body. Taste: bitter, grains, hoppy touch, very smoky. Aftertaste: grains, smoky, bitter, grains. Like the smoke, not much ipa though and no earl grey...
