On draught at the brewery, March 2014
Golden bodied beer with a medium-white head. Clarity is high.
Very fruity nose is quite sniffable with no blandness/dullness or resin notes. Malt actually shines through well, with touches of dough and light sugars.
Less attenuated than most of their other recent IPAs. Not to say its sweet or anything, but actually allows the malt to come through and there’s no dishwater/blanding/resin to disrupt. Had a 12 oz of it and was very happy with it. Just well-balanced all around and while nothing flashy or terribly memorable, lately that seems more memorable than not. Ample carbonation, soft, lightly malty texture and good balance of acids and malt on the end. Touch of diacetyl, perhaps.

Poured from growler cloudy grapefruit color with a disappearing whit head. Aromas of fresh citrus and pine. Taste is full of ripe citrus and a slightly lingering bitter hop finish.
