Waxed bomber from Trader Joe's Bakersfield. Nose is milky, lactosey, chocolate with hints of roast and char. Black with a medium, lightly lacing, cinnamon tan head. Flavor is sweet, cocoa, and a hint of vanilla extract.

Waxed bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours dark brn/blk with a dark tan head. Chocolate, moderately earthy, over dark malt. Full bodied. Flavor suggests cacao nibs and dark treacle. Earthy. Not dry, but not syrupy. There's a burn which could be hop or might be heat. Overall it seems bitter. Bitter chocolate. Not really getting lactose, but there is a little honey on my lips. I can't recall many ISs that tasted like this - stands out a bit from the crowd - good flavor and very drinkable.
