NE Coconut IPA. Layered with massive amounts of toasted coconut and lactose. Citra and Mosaic hops bring out tropical bursts of peach, apricot and mango. The mouthfeel is smooth, creamy and pillowy.

Tap. Pours hazy yellow, small white head, good lacing. Aroma is basically pineapple and coconut. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, pina colada. Medium body. Gimmicky, but strangely good.

Tap at Cap Hop. Pours hazy grapefruit gold with a white head. Aroma is grapefruit and tropicals. Med body plus a bit. Flavor is juicy, tropical, citrus/grapefruit and something extra that is intriguing, but I can’t identify. Something reminiscent of cinnamon. This is juicily undry, moderately bitter, and quite delicious.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 04/11/2018. Aroma is very coconut forward upfront. Light tropical fruit notes including mango and pineapple as well as some grapefruit. Light cracker malt notes. Pours a hazy gold color with a medium sized, thick creamy, white head that exhibits decent retention as it recedes to the edges where it lingers a bit. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor is moderately sweet with faint cracker malt notes. Lots of coconut with medium light bitterness. Light tropical fruit and citrus notes with a bit of lactose. Light alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an interesting take on an IPA. Tatses a lot like a coconut shake, but it doesn't have much hop profile or bitterness. It's not really clear what makes this an IPA, but it's tasty.
