Flight taster at Short Fuse. Brown ale color, still some remnants of foam at the top. The smell has more coffee to it than anything else. Some coffee figures further down, though. But this is the last of a flight, so I may be discombobulated. The taste has a distinct vegetal quality you don't get with pumpkin spice ales. Don't know where the latte comes in, I would expect some milk sugar, but this has no extra sweetness. Just a bit different, which still makes it interesting

A dark reddish brown ale with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with loads of pumpkin pie spices, vanilla, maple, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a beautiful sweet mix of maple syrup, pumpkin spices, alcohol warmth, vanilla, very nice. On tap at brewery.

(Tap) clear, bright, orange amber colour with a small white head; aroma of pumpkin, spice, jam; creamy palate; balanced flavour with a long, light bitter sweet finish
