A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, loads of coffee, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, coffee grind, musty character, light funk, alcohol warmth, very nice and rich. On tap at McThirsty's.

Tasting at Ryan's, can, 17/nov/2021
Black colour. Coffee forward, off-dry, weaker body than expected, with some dark malt acidity, light peppers, gentle fruitiness.
Good beer, not the imperial stout we expect nowadays though.

Dark brown. Thin head. Rich coffee aroma. On the palate, lots of coffee, nuts, and a fair amount of coffee. Decent sweetness. Good balance.

16oz (thx, Chris S.!) @ Ryan's. Appearance: dark brown with a dark beige head. Aroma: coffee, light green peppers, chocolate. Taste: along the same lines, lots of rosted malt and coffee, light smoky notes. Overall: pretty good.
