Cask @ Steamboat, Ipswich. Brighter golden with a thin head. Has a pleasant texture with mild tropical fruit notes, which are slightly better in its nose.

Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a pale gold with a small white heads and good lacing. There are oranges and malts mixed together in the aroma. Oranges again in the mouth, where the flavour starts off sweet with general citrus and some lemon, before sharpening to bitter with a flood of traditional hops. Finish is dry and bitter. Very nice – one of few beers that fully deserve the term “Session IPA”.

Cask ale, half-pint, shared with Finn at Charters Bar in Peterborough. Low white head over an amber-gold body. Dotted spots on the glass. Moderate citrus nose, hints of lemon. Malt-fruity flavours, impact of lemon, orange and bread. Drying, short bittersweet finish. Satisfying. (11.02.2019).
