Cask at Smithfield, Derby. Pours a pale gold with a small white heads and good lacing. There are oranges and malts mixed together in the aroma. Oranges again in the mouth, where the flavour starts off sweet with general citrus and some lemon, before sharpening to bitter with a flood of traditional hops. Finish is dry and bitter. Very nice – one of few beers that fully deserve the term “Session IPA”.
