Bottle from Better Foods, Clifton, Bristol. Amber in colour, with a big, but relatively short-lived, white head. Subtle, spicy, aroma, with an earthy edge and hint of floral hop. Flavour was full, with a slight oily edge, ripe oranges, earthy malts, and some yeastiness before a lingering, bitter, finish. Slow to creep up on me, but I enjoyed this strong saison a lot.
