At Borefts 2017. Aroma of herbs, chocolate, bourbon booze and vanilla. Taste has soft booze, vanilla, chocolate and some cream. Smooth finish. Good beer, but was hoping for more heaven hill goodness.

8 3 8 3 16 Draft at Borefts Beer Festival '17. Black with a ring tan head. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla, oak, chocolate and caramel. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with a bit too watery texture and soft carbonation.

Black with no head. Aroma has plenty of sweet Bourbon. Strong bitter roasted malts. Boozy aftertaste.

Draft at Borefts 2017. Black color. Beige head, not much. Aroma's: whiskey, fruit, sourish, roast. Retronasal it's sweetish, whiskey, chocolate, alcoholic fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet, alcohol, whiskey. Medium bodied. Low carbonation. Long finish, roasted, moderate bitter. Nice.

Tap. Aroma is prunes, chocolate, roasted malts, barrel, vanilla and caramel. Taste is prunes, barrel, cherries, vanilla, caramel, oak sugar, quite some barrel character there. Oily mouthfeel.

Sampled at Borefts Bier Festival 2017. Pitch black pour with a tan head. Notes of chocolate, cocoa, bourbon, vanilla. Full bodied, rich in flavour.

From tap. Pours pitch black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted dark. Lingering roasted. Dry and roasted malty. Bitter, roasted and dark malty. Lingering wooden and dsrk malty.

Clear dark brown to black beer, no head. Aroma: lovely stuff, lots of vanilla, sweet, bourbon, soft roast, milk chocolate, some marzipan even. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: alcohol, very sweet, more alcohol, lots of bourbon, vanilla, sugary, more bourbon, soft bitterness. Aftertaste: pretty roasted, lots of alcohol, bitter, vanilla, some banana peel, alcohol burning the throat a bit.

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2017. Black with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, moderately roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice and bourbon. Quite sweet, malty, moderately roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, vanilla and quite a bit of bourbon, followed by a long, rather roasty-bitter, earthy-dry finish with lots of bourbon. Medium to full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Damn tasty!
