Can at home picked up from Waitrose. A clear pale gold coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is cereal grains, light eggy note, leafy hop, lager notes. Palate is semi sweet, dry grain husks, frorhy carbonation. Flavour is composed of stale grains, husky, earthy cereal. Thin, plastic, weird cereal character. Bit of a weird one. Some medicinal off note in the finish.

Can from Waitrose, Frimley. Herby citrus aroma. Extra pale gold. Foamy white. Medium bitter with a sour edge. Light bodied. Crisp. Average carbonation. Dry finish. Enjoyed this. Wasn't expecting much so fair play. The crisp and dry palate balances well with the herbs and citrus.

[An attractive 44cl can from Waitrose, Bracknell.] An unexpectedly bright straw coloured pour with a loose white head; sweet bready malt aroma; bready malt taste with a touch of citrus; and more of the same to finish. Reminds me of an old fashioned Light Ale, the sort used to add some sparkle to an old fashioned Bitter; but not in a good way. Disappointing- style over substance.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up at Waitrose. Pours crystal clear gold with a fluffy, pure white head. Exceedingly unspectacular, with leafy hops, a lightly off minerally note, some pale grains, sun-kissed straw, nips of dough. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with a mellow smokey off note, more pale grains, hay. Mediocre overall.
