Keg at CBC Gilesborn, 27/07/16. Lightly hated golden orange with a decent off White head. Nose is apricot, straw, faint white pepper, lemon rind, light yeast esters. Taste comprises tangy apricot, citric snap, toasted grain, hay bale light spice, faint caramel, airy malts, yeast tickle. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid saison, well balanced and carries the apricot well.

Bottle at home in London - sourced from Clapton Craft. Pours lightly hazy yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. Lovely aroma, with tangy apricot, peach, tangerine, dry wheat, a touch of yeast. Light sweet flavour with steadying pale wheat bread, lightly chewy and tangy apricot, moderate saison yeast expression, further citrus notes, light bitter hay. Light bodied with lively, massaging carbonation. Things come together nicely in the finish, with a pleasant melange of ripening apricot, pale bread, hints of dough, straw, tangerine, a little orange rind and just a suggestion of alcohol. Lovely stuff.
