Legend has it, that beneath a one of the many barrows in the Mendip Hills,
lies a golden coffin, holding the body of King Arthur.

This is pretty unlikely to be honest.
So get over it, count your blessings and make the most of your time on this
wonderful earth by raising a glass in celebration!

Golden Casket is a Yonder take on a Belgian Tripel.
A strong, golden ale, fermented with our house blend of ale & wine yeasts and
featuring a blend of botanicals, including foraged sumach.

The lightly fruity, noble hops give both a depth and bitterness,
which make this 7.5% pale ale surprisingly moreish.

Ingredients:
Water, Barley Malt, Wheat, Yeast, Hops, Orange Peel & Sumach.

Old rating - 375ml bottle from Frome Sunday market. Pours a hazy orange with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of orange, banana, citrus, honey, herbal, cereals, spice & yeast. Well balanced hops & malt. Long sweet slightly alcoholic finish. Very well made take on a triple, verging on a saison, enjoyable

BBE 7.7.2020. Ce La Vie! Bright clear gold beer, thin white head. Palate is light and fairly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Fluffy but thin malts provide some dry mild sweetness. Mild pine. Tangy fruits, a kinda dried fruit and crystallised fruit hybrid. Finishes quite dry with the off fruits getting mildly bitter. Not awful by any means but also doing nothing for me.

Bottle from Wine Rack, Burpham. Funky vinous fruit vinegar aroma with a hint of spice. Light gold. Thick foamy white head. Light-medium sour. Fruit. Almost metallic. Sugary sweetness. Develops a spicy edge as I drink more. Medium bodied. Slick if thin. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry boozy astringent finish. The sour--sweet thing just doesn't quite do it for me.
