Keg at Flint Gate, Weybridge. Fruity malt aroma. Creamy off-white head. Medium-heavy sweet with a tangy sour edge. Some underlying bitterness then appears. Thick bodied. Sticky. Average carbonation. Astringent finish. Nice warming stuff. Remains drinkable despite the sweetness.

The aroma is sweet, sticky, dried fruits, raisin, sultana, dried fruits, zingy citrus, touch of marmalade, brown bread and some spice. The taste is bitter - sweet, earthy, brown bread, dried fruits, fruit cake, tannin, zingy citrus, marmalade, figgy pudding, brown bread, nips of warmth, toothy, earth, light tannin and cherry cola with a slick, sugary finish. Full body and fine carbonation. Quite fun.
