Tap. Brewdog, Soho. Probably black. Hard to tell in here. Fine, tan head. Nose has toasted coconut. Dark chocolate. Vine fruit. Notes of fig and date. Taste is fairly sweet, with a vinous, burnt malt bitterness. Medium body. Low carbonation. Lingering roast malt bitterness to finish. Nice enough, but I expected a bit of a silkier affair.

On tap at Brewdog Soho. Black beer lasting tan head. Dark chocolate aroma. Definitely coconut on the aroma. Like a bounty bar. Dark chocolate and dry flaked coconut. Very smooth for the strength. I really enjoyed this. Good smoothness and a little juicy. Good stuff

Keg at BD Tower Hill. Low key coconut aroma. Dark and glossy. Creamy beige head. A mix of flava: boozy coffee bitterness and sweet coconut. The bitterness then dominates the finish. Medium-thick bodied. Creamy. Flat carbonation with a vague suggestion of fizz. Long dry astringent finish. If you cross an Impy stout with a Bounty bar I guess this would basically be the result. Pretty decent if not essential.
