Bursting with gooseberry flavours from the Nelson Sauvin hop, Day Dreamer is a sessionable New Zealand pale ale that certainly delivers on flavour.

Cask at the Merchant - Canary Wharf. Pours clear gold with a bubbly, white head. Nice drinkable ale, some grassy bitterness, lemon zest, crunchy pale grains. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Finishes with further lemongrass vibe. Sound.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Nil aroma. Amber gold. Frothy white head. Some sweetness. A tad bitter. But overall it's got that boiled veg thing going on. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Flat carbonation. Dry finish. Snoozefest. And really, why brew a beer that tastes like boiled veg?

Cask @ Iron Duke, London. Golden with a small bubbly head. A bland hoppy ale with a mild sweetness, but even though it was from a Fuller's pub I don't think they cared for their beer as well as they could.

Not feeling the zesty tag, but itโs a pretty decent bitter.

Cask at the merchant Canary wharf. A clear dark orange amber coloured pour with a a loose off white head. Aroma is subdued, nutty toffee malts, raisin, cola cubes. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, rounded malts, biscuit and toasted malts, dried fruits, earthy toast in the finish. Palate is semi sweet, decent cask condition, grain husks in the finish. Ok.
