26/8/2021. Cask at the 2021 East Anglian Beer Festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours hazy dark orange with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of orange, biscuit, caramel, citrus, touch of rubber, later picking up orange tea. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation. Dry finish. Good.

Cask at New Milton Beer Festival. Orange and caramel aroma. Not so much hazy as murky faded orange brown. Forthy white head recedes to a thin creamy head. Light sour. Spicy. Some underlying sweetness. Medium bodied. Creamy. Flat carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Interesting.

23rd June 2018
Hazy orange beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is smooth and has a fine minerally crispness. Smooth and fairly dry malts, mildly sweet. Modest orange and pine. A touch of harsh floral bitterness. Fresher orange and orange peel on the back end. Touch of hop dust. Bitter linger. Better than the harsh Ducking Stool but this beer could still do with a lot of refinement. Tastes like most of the hops are going in the boil.
