Bottle. Amber beer with a cream head. Pineapple aroma. Pineapple and light grapefruit flavor. Medium bodied. Decent bitterness. Pineapple and light pine lingers with light grapefruit.

22 oz bottle poured. TJ's helping me pick up midwest rates. For cheap too. Less than $3 for the bombers. Will never complain about that, no matter what the beer is like. A bright and shiny golden pour. A sweet, candy like tropical fruit aroma. Very little IPA indication here, as it is buried by the sweetness of the pineapple juice like constant. Lingering ripe fruit. Interesting, but pineapple isn't really my thing.

Bomber from Trader Joe’s in Reston, VA Aroma: pineapple, caramel, resin, citrus Appearance: clear golden with an off-white head Taste: medium sweetness, medium bitterness, Palate: medium body, slick feel, average carbonation, long finish, Not bad for the price ($3)

Bomber from TJ’s in Davis, CA. Pours translucent gold with a creamy white head. Aroma is a faint Jolly Ranchers of some sort. Not quite medium body. Flavor reminds of the aroma of bubble bath packets of circa 1948. If this is pineapple, it’s a bit unlike my concept of such. Another big mistake by TJ’s.

22oz bottle bought from my local Trader Joes, like everyone else. Poured a hazy orange color with a fluffy white head. Aroma was lots of pineapple notes, but without the sharpness that you’d get from the juice. Some orange comes through. Probably a little artificial, but surprisingly drinkable. Nothing crazy here.

Slightly hazy copper and orange coloured body with a nice, three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of pineapple, biscuits, a touch of earthy malt, some yeast and unfinished sugars and a touch of very light hops all are noticeable. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong pineapple flavour with a lot of sugars a very easy-going, and watery malt body and a touch of hops noticeable near the end, but nothing resembling an IPA at all. Aftertaste shows a sweetness from the fruits and a tiny bit of malt around, but that’s it - nothing exciting or too flavourful here and defintiely not something worth searching out or spending a lot of money on. Overall, a beer that shows pineapple more than any hops, thus shows more of a fruit beer than an IPA by all means, but luckily it wasn’t horribly expensive, however a typical beer at Trader Joe’s is less than $1,75 thus you’d be better off by getting any other beer than this. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Trader Joe’s in [Old Town] Alexandria, Virginia on 18-June-2017 for US$3,49 sampled at home on the Eastern Shore, in Pungoteague, Virginia on 30-June-2017, my birthday!

Bomber from Trader Joe’s Brookfield. Slightly hazy golden, large foamy off-white head, good retention. Aroma of pineapple and pale malt. The taste is pineapple, pine, pale malt. Thin, tinny. Not great.
