0.473 l can from 'Bierloods22', canned in May 2024. Black with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, light brown head. Sweetish-malty, quite roasty and gently spicy aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, caramel, vanilla, quite some cinnamon and traces of hazelnut. Fairly sweet, malty, quite roasty, gently spicy taste of dark chocolate, coffee, cinnamon, vanilla, some licorice, light hazelnut and a touch of ash, followed by a long, quite roasty-bitter, slightly boozy finish. Full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Good stuff, nice twist with that cinnamon and maybe the rice.

Tip Tap draught, 11/8/24. Undetermined clarity, dark. Small, ashen-tan head. Sugar and vanilla with brown sugar and low roast. No booze but smells very sweet. Indeed. Tastes like marshmallow and vanilla with ice cream and weird roast bitterness clashing with it all. Expansive, fluffy carbonation is strange, as well. Yeah, not finding much horchata or much redeeming anything here, really. Just bitterness and artificial-tasting sugar.

Poured from the tap @ Alesmith. Very dark brown with small beige head. Cinnamon and lactose sugars with mild vanilla and coffee underlay. Simple, yet effective.

Can 473ml (Hoptimaal)
Opaque colour, medium-sized brownish head, lace. Vanilla, chocolate , hints of smokeyness in the nose, even slightly perfumic. Medium to full-bodied. Roasted, sweetish, vanilla, spiceyness, coffee, a bit perfumic. Bitterish, a bit alcoholic finish. A bit too pastry Speedway version, not my favourite among them.

Nice beer, base is great. Additions are meh, nit overdone, good for pastry style but without would be better. Also tastes a little dated. Beertemple ama

16 ounce can from Tavour. Opaque dark brown color. Frothy tan head. Nice lacing. Roasted malt aroma is subdued with a wisp of vanilla. Flavor is sharp and bold. Roasted malt, coffee, vanilla and cinnamon. Boozy and hoppy. Finishes with hint of licorice and chocolate.

Rating #43,000. 16 oz. can, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma has a nice melange of lactose, cocoa, vanilla, toasted rice, and of course coffee. Flavour is potent but wonderfully cohesive, with lots of medium roast coffee, light vanilla, a hint of cinnamon, and lactose. The sweetness is on the higher side for a Speedway variant and becomes a bit much - I wouldn't say cloying but more than I want, such that the cinnamon and coffee become further in the background. Still, very good.
