Panda thanks to Cloin. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly tan head. Smooth airy palate, a little soft but decent fine carbonation on the back end lightens the load. A touch of dark chocolate malts, mildly creamy. A slightly more obvious toffee vibe reminds that this is actually a barleywine! Big bourbon barrel character. Soft rich ripe fruity bourbon and wonderfully rich fruit cake. Mild oak induced vanilla. Some bourbon spice. Smooth rich fruity finish. Breaks no new ground and a barleywine utterly behoven to its barrel. No issue with either of those points, rich, tasty and drinkable.

Extremely dark mahogany brown topped with a khaki cap that dissipates to the edge.
Nose is fruit cake, raisins, figs, vinous strains, mellow bourbon rip, chocolate flakes.
Taste comprises fruit cake mix, light spice, mellow bourbon bite, toffee fudge, plummy depths, figs, raisins, dark malts.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close cloaked with a well rounded bourbon rip allied to a balanced rising boost.
Solid well balanced and thought out barley wine.

Bottle shared by MisoW. Dark brown almost black color with small beige head. Aroma of chocolate, rye, Bourbon, cocoa beans. Taste is sweet with chocolate, Bourbon, coconut. Tasty.
