Handpull cask at the Kings Head. Middle-of-the-road the road gold and mostly clear with a small uneven off-white head. Fruity aroma, some grapefruit, persimmon, lime leaf. Sweet taste with some fruity hop bitterness following, some grapefruit oil and touches of kumquat. Long fruity finish with residual tongue coating hop oil. Medium body with soft carbonation. A really nice beer from a brewery that doesn't usually hit the mark as keenly as this.

Cask-conditioned at the Black Horse, Amberley, Gloucestershire 9 July 2022. Deep gold in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head that left plenty of lacing down the glass. Hedgerow hops, some red berry and tangerine fruits, ripe malts and a lingering, bitter, finish. Very drinkable.

On cask at The Wellington, pours a clear copper with a small beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt and earthy hops. Flavour is fairly bitter, with earthy hops, metallic notes, and bready malt. Metallic and bitter. Not much going on, but it's pleasant.

Half-pint, cask ale, shared with Finn at Greyfriar. Clear warm golden body, remaining filmy layer, clingy lacing. restrained aromas of doughy fruits. Mixed taste of apricot and semi sweet grainy malts. Distant, smooth bitter end. Just alright. (Reading 20.10.2019).

[Cask at the Greyfriar, Reading. ] A bright amber pour with a tight white head; sour grainy aroma; similar taste; with a tart finish. Not great - perhaps out of condition.
