To celebrate seven years of brewing, we’ve crafted a Scotch ale with a full body and rich copper color. Plumb its malty depths and you’ll find notes of raisin bread and chewy caramels complemented by a subtle roastiness.

12 ounce bottle from Wine Warehouse. Why did I pay almost 4 bucks for this? Oh well. Muddy dark brown medium fizzy white head fair retention. Aroma of toffee caramel cherry chocolate. Taste is cherry, toffee, earth, herbal notes. Medium bodied. Decent.

12oz bottle. Bottled on 02/01/18. Pours headless and looks undercarbonated. Dirty brown drain water appearance. It kind of smells old already. Aroma is earthy autumn leaves maltiness. Flavor has a bit more sweetness and light cocoa. Overly baked cookie aftertaste. Nice beer but needs to e a bit more refined. Make it pretty and a little cleaner.

Bottle at GBBF 2018. Thanks to Ken. Hazy dark ruby colour. No head. Bit fizzy. Big heavy malt. Bitter finish. Rich strawberry jam. Just a bit too fizzy. Good rich jammy malty beer though.

GBBF Day 2. Bottle. Almost clear deep amber beer, tidy pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, good fine carbonation. Smooth malts, little cream, lots of tangy caramel. Decent berry fruits. Mild spice. Whisper of toffee. Dry spicy finish. Flavoursome and drinkable.

$3.45 bottle, Wine Warehouse. Pours murky brown with a dusting of a head. Aroma is sweet malt, raisin, alcohol, caramel, pipe tobacco, dark fruit. Flavor is all of those, but black cherry stands out as the dark fruit... almost like drinking cherry-flavored pipe tobacco. Tasty.
