Bottle, 6.3% as Bøgedal 104. BB 2008, 3.5 years ago. Sweet liquorice aroma, a little fruit and roasted malt. Clear deeply reddish dark brown colour. Big light brown head which is rather quickly gone. The flavour has a mild sweet liquorice note as well. Hint of sweetness with a spicy hop note. Has a little cork towards the finish, other than that it is in perfect condition. Good foamy mouthfeel.

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy, dark brown with a dense, creamy, beige head. Lightly burned, ashy aroma. Surprisingly light body with sweetish notes of fruit and prunes. Dry and bitter finish. Interesting. 201107

Dark brown color, cloudy. Some hop aroma; strong caramel taste and some chocolate malt, good body; the bitter hop wins over the aroma hop. One of the best I tried from Bøgedal.

75 cL bottle. Pours dark brown and with a dense light brown head. Floral hoppy aroma and with a nice maltbase. Flavour holds a nice roasted mat flavour with a nice liqourice note. Has a dry profile with a solid bitterness. Slight herbal note in the finish gaining strength over the bitter/herbal notes and with a solid bitterness following in the far finish. Slight ginger spiced.
