Cask at Bear and Billet, Chester. Pours a hazy golden yellow with a small white head and good lacing. Aroma is mainly grains and citrus. In the mouth it starts off sweet before the bitterness of floral hops comes through to dominate. Thereโs a juiciness to it and flavours of mango, citrus, some underlying caramel and traces of oranges. Finish is slightly dry. Not bad at all.

Can from Marks & Spencer. Deep gold in colour, with slight, white, head. Tangerine and pineapple fruits, a whiff of green herb, earthy rich tea malts, and dryish finish. A good pale ale.
