Keg at The Alma. It pours hazy dark brown with a medium foamy off-white head. The aroma is earthy, toasted nut, wood, sweet, coffee grounds and some dried fruits. The taste is dry, bitter, charred wood, leathery, chewy, bit of berry / dark fruit, cocoa, peppery and some tar with a drying and chewy finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. A bit chewy and burnt. Meh.
