250ml bottle. Vintage 2016. Smooth, heavy and slightly roasty with loads of rye bread, molasses, dark ripe fruits, hints of rum, honey and toffee. Quite old school. Okay, but not the best variant.

25cl bottle pours an oily, opaque black with some khaki head. Nose has brown sugar, rum, molasses, licorice. Flavor is black strap molasses and dark rum, caramel, dark brown sugar. Really smooth. Finishes a bit prickly, full bodied. Nice.

Bottle @ Akkurat. Pours pitch black with a small brown head. Aromas of sweet rum, coconut, vanilla, lightly bready malts, honey, booze. Taste has lots of sweet rum, light coffee, roasted malts, honey, dark chocolate, lightly ashy, burned wood, light bitter finish.

Had 3 bottles in my last trip in Sweden, at 3 sma rum, a Bishops Arms at Stockholm and at Akkurat. Black color with beige brown head. Malty aroma, roasted, lots of honey, caramel, chocolate, wood, sweet alcohol. In the first bottle there was soy sauce and dark dried fruits. Sweet and light to moderate bitter taste. Full silky oily body with soft carbonation.
