(Bottle 50 cl) Rating is of the original bottle conditioned King & Barnes version at 5.3% ABV. Very dark mahogany colour with a handsome, dense head. Rather heavy carbonation. Lovely roasted malt character with some lightly burned notes. Very marked bitterness in the aftertaste. Sediment in the bottle. 010801

Bottle. (5.3%). Sourish aroma. Almost clear golden colour. Small, stable, creamy head. Fruity flavour, a little cardboard. Bitter aftertaste. Acidic in a refreshing way, but not enough to make it a great beer.

A hazy amber beer with a beige head. The aroma is sweet with slight notes of metal, while the flavor is weird with notes of caramel and metal, leading to a dry hoppy end.

Eh, I wasn't too impressed with this one. Decent coloring but I was not a fan of the flavor, it was way too fruity and had a strong apple flavor, almost like a cider beer but not as smooth.

Very earthy, with a touch of woody dryness, and an underlying medicinal or herbal character.
