This 4% ABV golden pale ale radiates British summertime – made from English Mystic hops for its citrus, stone and berried fruit profile, it is packed full of fruit and elderflower flavours.
This pale ale has elderflower notes paired with a torrent of peaches, lime and zingy orange fruit for balance. It finishes with a mellow bitterness and a lot more zing. On a hot summer’s evening, Boat Trip pairs perfectly with the warming spices of Persian-style lamb flatbreads, or spiced aubergine brioche burgers and pickled cucumber.
Boat Trip is an homage to Adnams co-founder, George, who had a chance encounter with a crocodile whilst living in South Africa. Generations later, another chance encounter at a hop selection in Yakima, brought together Adnams Head Brewer, Dan Goodham, and DEYA Head Brewer Gareth Moore and Owner Theo Freyne. Bonding over a mutual love of Simcoe, Citra and Mystic hops, and a shared respect for crocodiles, the trio set off on a Boat Trip together to create this adventurous new brew.

Cask at The Feather's, Broadway, London. A golden/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, orange taste and aroma. Nice bitterness and in good condition on a hot afternoon.

Clear gold with a slight chill haze, a frothy white head and a citrus and stone fruit aroma. Decent orange/grapefruit bitterness, marmalade sweetness and soft, light malt in the background
