A deep dark stout with a thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light coffee grind, musty character, light pineapples, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity chocolate malt with dark fruits, light pineapples, alcohol warmth, light coffee, very nice. On tap at L'autre oeil.

(355ml can from L'Impact, Quebec City) Pours black with a small pale tan head and some light lace. Aroma of canned sweet pineapple, milk chocolate, dark sugars and molasses, moderate roast, edges of creamy coconut, definitely dessert pina colada feeling to it. Flavour is quite interesting, above moderately sweet with notes of canned pineapple dominant, smooth creamy coconut giving almost lactosean vibes, chocolate milk, lightly roasted malts, finish remains sweet and sugared with lots of candied pineapple and creamy coconut, soft dusty cacao and roast, drying only in the slightly bitter aftertaste. Medium plus bodied, oily to creamy, fairly soft carbonation. Surprisingly pina colada-esque, I wasn't expecting it to work as well as it did. Fun dessert pastry and much better than most fruited stouts because there's no ill-placed acidity.
