Embrasse the coolness with this IPA straight out of the annals of American classicism, West Coast style. Embrasse it with your tongue and go back in time to your youthful days when citrusy dankness and an invigorating bitterness tasted of carelessness and sweet kisses at the beach.

Can from Chez Ben. Hazy dark amber with a generous long lasting cream coloured head that leaves tight lace. Nose is citrus, tropical fruit and bready malts. Light+ sweet malts with a medium citrus peel and resin bitterness. mouth is medium with average carbonation and a lingering bitter finish. 7/4/7/4/15

A golden ipa with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light mineral notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light mineral notes, citrus pulp, nice and smooth.

On tap at Avant-Garde, pours a fairly clear orange with a small white head. Nose is very malty, almost syrupy, with subdued resinous hops that are buried. Flavour is very surupy — this is way over-malted, such that the resinous hops are too buried. Sweet, syrupy, sticky, though not a cough syrupy level. Not good — needs work.
