Funk Juice was brewed with rolled oats, wheat and lactose milk sugar, soured with our wild house Lactobacillus culture, fermented with Kveik, then conditioned on an irresponsible amount of fruit.

Opaque pale pink. No head. Quite tart. Massive blackberry character…storebought type? I mean that’s what it tastes like. So it’s not bad. A bit abrasively sour in the finish.

A milky purple ale with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity raspberry jam, light acidity, Blackberry, light lactic notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with loads of raspberries, blackberries, very nice and complex. On tap at brewery.

On tap at House of Funk, pours a cloudy bright red with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with fresh, pithy raspberries upfront, a little blackberry, and a little tartness. Flavour is tart, fruity and jammy, with lots of jammy raspberries upfront, followed by a bit of pithy berry, and moderate tartness. Gentle to moderate acidity on the finish. It's not a complex beer but the fruit is fresh and vibrant. Very good.
