A deep dark brown scotch ale with a thin lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with amaretto, vanilla, Pecan, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with dark fruits, licorice, vanilla, Pecan, alcohol warmth, very nice and rich. Bottle from brewery, 2017.

500 ml bottle shared by DCLawyer, thanks Jason! Dark reddish/brownish black. Aromas of coffee, caramel, brown sugar. Tastes of caramel, bourbon, dark chocolate. Full body.

50cl bottle pours a cola brown with ecru head. Nose has everything it promises, chewy malts and tootsie roll, dark coffee, candied nuts. Flavor has all of that, malts and brown sugar and nuts, coffee grounds, Kahlua, booze now, black tea too, mild spice now. Full bodied, sticky finish. 8 4 8 5 16

500 ml bottle at the late December DC RB Tasting. Poured a dark, but clear amber color with a small tan head. Aroma was lots of chocolate and coffee, boozy pecans. Flavor was rich, toasted malts, sweet roast. Smooth and really pleasant.
