A deep dark stout with a very thin mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate malt with loads of coconut, alcohol warmth, very nice. In mouth, sweet chocolate malt with dark fruits, coconut, alcohol warmth, very nice.

(355ml can from L’Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours black with a small pale tan head and no lace. Aroma is heavy on coconut, both white flesh and some toasty stuff, slightly acidic roast, milk chocolate, some earthy coffee. Flavour is chocolate milk, quite some creamy coconut as expected, fair amount of raw sugar vibes, raw coconut most prominent into the aftertaste, some light coffee tones, roast less prominent than the nose and very lightly acidic. Finish is without bitterness, chocolate milk and coconut cream. No alcohol heat. Light to medium bodied, oily to creamy, soft carbonation. Hardly surprising that there's a lot of coconut here, which is fine by me because it's a favoured adjunct. Not overly heavy in general but nice sweet pastry-adjacent dessert stout.
