A hazed golden DIPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, dank notes, pleasant. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, dank notes, pleasant. On tap at Festibiere de Laval 2022.

(473ml can from the BG18e brewpub) Pours pretty hazy dull gold with a nice head of white froth and good lace. Aroma and flavour are both driven by leafy 'green' hops, but not oniony, more of a menthol/eucalyptus fresh peppery aromatic profile like Nelson can sometimes get; this is backed by candied grapefruit, soft pit fruit and rounded bready malt with a smooth fruity ester profile. Finish is pretty dry and dominated by the fresh leafy eucalyptus vibe that contributes light bitterness but a real tingle. Quite light bodied for style but with nice soft creamy carbonation and no alcohol. Solid brew even though the hop profile was a bit unexpected for me, Citra taking a bit of a back seat but not totally unlike some NS-dominant beers. Interested to see more Nano Cinco collabs.
