Yankee Gale is an American Pale Ale to commemorate the devastating storm of 1851 that occurred off the North Shore of Western PEI. Brewed with all PEI malt, and loads of hops, Yankee Gale delivers notes of passionfruit, intense citrus, with pine undertones. A moderate bitterness and bready malt backbone balances this pale ale to be enjoyed by many!

Tap @ the brewery. Nice head with food suration. Color is pale golden. Aroma and taste are rich citrus, bitter hoos, flowers, malt and has a nice bitter citrus finish.

A hazed golden ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, pleasant. On tap at Hopyard.

Can. Thick haze on this one, and a big thick head, too. The aroma has a nice fruitiness to it - the can says passionfruit and I can go there. Also, tangerine and gooseberry. That hint of tartness carries through. I'm looking at the malts, and there's a nice little sweetness to them. I bet PEI can grow really nice barley so I'm curious to try a more malt-forward style. The tropical notes carry through, and there's a decent mid-range bitterness as well. Fresh and tasty, this is good stuff.
